GENERIC BIO! (WHO GIVES A SHIT?):
Ryan Werner is the author of the short short story collection Shake Away These Constant Days (Jersey Devil Press, 2012), the story cycle Murmuration, the tiny little fiction chapbook If There's Any Truth In a Northbound Train, and the shattered novella/rock & roll morality play Soft. Of his work, Mary Miller (author of Big World and The Last Days of California) said, "Ryan writes with authority, skill, and passion, not only about the Midwest, but about youth and what it means to be young." Thomas Cooper (author of Phantasmagoria and Barataria) has praised Werner as "an important new voice: quirky, world-wise, and as joyfully rambunctious as your favorite punk rock song." His work has appeared in or is forthcoming in the Indiana Review, The Rumpus, Smokelong Quarterly, [PANK], BULL: Men's Fiction, Juked, and many other places of varying notoriety and popularity. He bought a $100 printer and now runs Passenger Side Books from his humid apartment.
